1970 vw beetle cal look 1641cc small project in Rotherham, South Yorkshire for sale

for sale is my 1970 beetle project which i have been restoring for the past two years, this car has been a great experience restoring it in my spare time but unfortunately i do not have the money or time to finish it. she is a 1970 1300 beetle with a 1641 twin port wacked in the back, the engine came to me as a non runner which has been fully stripped and rebuilt with no expense spared for faulty parts this car has cost me about £3,000 to get it where it is to now. i have done all the work between me and my father. the car has been fully welded including 2 brand new heater channels, front valence, rear valence, rear bumper mounts, floorpans repaired, framehead replaced, spare wheel well welded and much more. the car has been fully under sealed with 2 coats of por 15 undersealer and 2 coats of hamerite so theres more chance of a polystyrene cup rusting. the car has had a full respray (done myself) using cellulose through a spray gun (not rattle cans) the respray has probably cost me the best part of £800 with all the work needed, however i am not a professioal auto body technician and there are areas i planned on re addressing over a weekend when its finished. the car still requires the two doors and one wing spraying although the paint needed to do this is included in the sale. the interior is in a usable condition although due to lack of funds i could not get it re upholstered, although i planned to have it done this winter. so what still needs doing? well the main parts are: spray doors and wings, needs new door and window seal sets, finish tinting rear windows, bleed brakes, finish installing interior, lights, and the wiring needs sorting out, also there are a few floorpan bolts that need a little alignment work as these plates rotten so new floorpan edges have been welded on. this car is a lovely example of a 1970 beetle and i would love to finish it myself although i simply do not have the money. i have spent alot of time and on this and cant bare to watch it rust away. it is very tidy beetle but is NOT SHOW STANDARD as unfortunately i am no pro. i have all the reciepts for the parts i have baught, there is simply too much for me to list and im shure i will have forgoten something important but do not hesitate to email or call me on: 5. more pics available on request, collection only, open to sensible offers thanks for looking, alex
